Per-account risk controls

What is trading copier software?
Trading copier software replicates orders from one account (the leader) to one or more follower accounts in real time. When you execute on your leader, the software detects the fill and sends the same order, or a scaled version of it, to every connected follower account, typically in milliseconds.
Does the software need to stay running to copy trades?
It depends on the plan. On Pro (desktop), Tradecopia must be running on your machine and connected to your broker. If you close the app, replication stops. On Pro+ and Pro+ Lite (cloud), the copy engine runs continuously in the cloud with no local machine required, so it stays active whether or not you have the app open.
Does it run on Windows and Mac?
Yes. Tradecopia Pro has native clients for both Windows and macOS. Pro+ is browser-based so it runs on any platform with a browser. Both include the same broker integrations and risk controls.
Which brokers and platforms are supported?
Tradecopia connects directly to Tradovate, NinjaTrader 8, Rithmic, and TopstepX via their respective broker APIs. TradingView is supported as a leader source - trade from TradingView and your orders copy to your followers. Fully automated strategy-alert routing via webhook is coming soon. You can mix platforms - for example, a Tradovate leader copying to NinjaTrader, Rithmic, and TopstepX followers simultaneously.
How is execution latency measured?
Latency is measured from the moment Tradecopia receives the leader fill confirmation to the moment the follower broker acknowledges the replicated order. Live per-fill latency is shown on the dashboard for every connected account so you can monitor your own setup in real time.
